On the 25th November 2013 I lodged a claim for damage to my roof caused by hail, I only received a response back a month later which my claim was rejected as the claim that it is due to a peephole which is normal wear and tear. I disputed this on the 14/01/2014 as I personally had the roofed fixed up and due to heavy hail that we experienced it got damaged again. I then got a call from Nadia at Reef Insurance advising that the claim has still been rejected which I then requested response in writing and copies of the Assessor and Contractors report I was then told that the claim has been referred back to Holland to be looked at again, after 2 weeks Carol comes back and says that they are upholding their decision and cannot produce this and will give this to the ombudsman if need be. As per the NCA act I am entitled to this report and am now going to take this up with the FSB board. Why don't these reports want to be produced to me. I cannot understand why a contractor would be sent out to give a quote if the assessor report stated otherwise as per rejection letter. I have been a valued client and have many vehicles and household insured and am disgusted at the treatment I got
