I submitted a claim for the repair of a hail damaged roof on the 26 November 2013. I lodged an official complaint with the Nedbank AskOnce centre on the 19 December as I had no feedback on my claim yet. On the 23rd December I phoned the complaints centre again because still no feedback from them either! The AskOnce department eventually phoned back saying that the insurance department had rejected my claim. When I asked why it had been rejected I was promised that the insurance division will officially let me know the reasons etc. shortly... It is now the 13 January and not a word from anybody at Nedbank!!! I have left 7 messages for a Cathy who is apparantely the head of the department and still no reply. Everytime you phone you have to hold on for 20 minutes plus before someone answers. I have two contractors that agree that there is hail damage (I have even submitted one of these reports to the assessor). I have even tried phoning the assessor directly but he cannot help me. He can't remember what the outcome of his report was!
What is going on? I do all my banking with Nedbank, Home Loan, Vehicle finance... everything and this is the service I get! SHOCKING!!!
