Hi!

I have a home loan with FNB and the insurance on my house is with Outsurance. I phoned them and asked them what I could claim under the insurance I have with them because I needed to get my swimming pool fixed. They said that I can register a claim for my swimming pool so I did. The lady phoned me back and told me that they could not find a pool specialist in our area and if we could recommend one as the pool specialists form Polokwane did not want to travel the distance to give them a report. So I did. They phoned the guy and he came out to analize the damage to the pool which included cracks, photos was taken etc. She then phoned me back and told me that the claim was rejected due the damage being caused by personal wear and tear. After 9 years never claiming my first claim with them is rejected. Why? Personal wear and tear to a swimming pool? I dont thing so. So I sent a email requesting to re-register my claim and get a secound opinion from the guys in Polokwane. After many many phonecalls, e-mails and promises I still did not get a response from them. This is been going back and forth for more than a month. PLEASE HELP!
