My bank account was over debited with an amount I did not agree on with Sanlam in December 2013, I brought the issue to attention with them early January 2014, sent an email with my bank statement and to this day, have not heard a response. 28 January 2014 the same thing happened, I phoned in and was assisted by someone not willing to investigate as she indicated that on her system it does not show the duplication, I told her I have sent an email with proof to [Email Removed] and she clearly told me that they (not sure who they are) will tell me the same thing as it does not reflect on her side, she further went on to say that in "reality and theory" it is not the case and I told her I do not see how that is reality because I have proof my bank account was debited twice by 'Multid Forsanbes' which is normally Sanlam's reference on my bank statement. I cancelled the debit order early today and she told me she can see that as it reflects and asked why because the issue could have been resolved, how? if she is telling me that she cannot pick up the double debit on her side. How do I continue allowing them to debit my account. I want refund. Very close to cancelling unit trust.
