I was contacted by Reality last year 21/06/2012 (my membership date). I am positive that the lady told me that there was no cost involve, because of me having a policy with Sanlam. I recieved my tax certificate from Santam today and to my schock found out that I have been paying a R109 per month for something that I never use. I contacted Sanlam which refered me to Reality. I cancelled my membership. I phoned Sanlam again and spoke to a Jackie (I think), I wanted to know what my monthy premium on my Sanlam policy was, because there was no deduction on my bankstatement for R109. To my dismay I realize that the amount of R109 was just added to my Sanlam deduction??? I ask the lady who gave them the right to add the amount to my Sanlam decution, when she told me they have nothing to do with Reality and I must phone them? My point is if the amount of R109 had gone of seperately I would have picked it up and cancelled it within the first month. How can Sanlam allow this?
