In December 2013 I applied for an advance loan on my Bond as we required extra money for our wedding. We submitted everything required including a lease agreement for my Rental Income. To our dismay in January 2014 we received the news that it had been declined. After disputing this it came to our attention that they never included my Rental Income. The consultant resubmitted the application with a motivation to include the rental income. After 2 days we phoned the Home Loans department at which they communicated that they had not received the reapplication. We contacted the consultant who said that he had emailed it two days prior. He phoned the Home loans department himself at which they then suddenly found the documents and started processing the application. Two days later we phoned the Home loans dep again to hear once again that it had been declined because AGAIN they did not include the rental income which is stipulated in the lease agreement and can be seen on my Bank statements on a monthly basis for more than 12 months. They also included a retail account as an expense which I haven't had for years which is very confusing. This is such a disappointment from ABSA!!!
