Successful tx's on my card after card as cancelled

To whom it may concern

I need this complain to be raised with management.

Yesterday I requested my ABSA garage card to be cancelled, Gershwin Roberts was the person who closed my card and told me to destroy the card as per the email.

This morning I bought petrol and wanted to see if my card would go through as I have had many incidents where I requested something telephonically and my request was not performed successfully on your side. That is why I communicate via email now due to incompetent staff at ABSA that dont know english.

Please explain to me how it was possible to have my ABSA garage card cancelled but perform successful transactions on the card after the card is cancelled???

Can you also tell me what the ABSA garage card fee is per month?
