Standard bank contacted me regarding incorrect balances on my account but refused to take any responsibility in their failure. My issue was with the fact that THEIR ATMS showed me an incorrect balance and I acted on the incorrect balance.
After the phone call I was left with the impression that they would correct the mistake, however I checked my account and I was charged honouring fees TWICE for their mistake!
I am infuriated by the way in which they deal with their clients.
It's very simple. Take responsibility!
