Payments Lost

I am an FNB client, but have been making payments to an ABSA Credit Card for the past twelve months. The first three payments were successful, but the rest are not reflecting in the recipient's account. I have spoken extensively to FNB about this problem, and I have proof that the payments were made. FNB has also confirmed that the payments were sent to ABSA. ABSA can't find these payments. The problem seems to come in when I changed the deposit reference from the credit card number to my name, as per the recipient's request. I have spoken to ABSA about this, and they are either unable or unwilling to find those payments (as I am not an ABSA client). FNB told me that if these payments were problematic and didn't process successfully, they would have automatically reversed to my account. This did not happen. These payments add up to quite a large sum of money, and I would appreciate it if ABSA could assist me in retrieving these funds as soon as possible.
