SHOCKING SERVICE ON EFT BETWEEN STANDARD BANK ACC

SHOCKING! 23years a client and today I am really thinking about moving away from SB. I am expecting an urgent EFT payment which was made @11h45 today from SB Montana to my SB Centurion account. I specifically gave my SB acc so that the money can reflect after payment and I can meet my payment commitment. Huge was my surprise when still @15h00 no money is showing on my acc. After phoning the branch support I got informed that well either because of slow EFT systems and/or Standard Bank procurement policies and cannot even remember the other lame excuse the money can take anything from 0 to 24 hours before reflecting in my acc. I was shocked-this is the 1st time I experienced this and heard of this. If I knew this was the case what is the use of giving my SB acc to people transferring from SB then I could have given them my Capitec acc and maybe still receive the money faster. I called ABSA and Capitec told them my story and both confirmed that paying from ABSAtoABSA, CapitectoCapitec-regardless of the amount the money WILL reflect immediately. Someone told me that SB has the most outdated technology, I was surprised and defended Standard Bank but after today I believe that it is true!!
