My daughter has a savings account with Capitec and some money was paid into her account as a gift from someone in Namibia via Standard Bank Namibia on Saturday morning. She wanted to know when the money will be avilable for her to use.. When I phoned Capitec call centre yesterday, they told me it should reflect over night if paid before 09:00 in the morning. Otherwise the next day. Well it didn't reflcet today. When I phoned Capitec this afternoon to again ask when the money would reflect, I was told by the call centre lady that it will take two weeks to reflect since it is seen as International and that Capitec does not handle International transactions.. Now, I just want to know when the money will reflect in my daughter's account and have had two different stories from two different call centre agents.. Can anyone in Capitec tell me what the real story is please?
