I made a purchase at Woolworths about 3 weeks prior. FNB declined my card TWICE. I went and drew money and came back to purchase the item CASH. Today TWO debit orders have come off my account, so I have now paid the item THRICE (three times over).
FNB refuse to assist me in getting my money back.
I have spoken to a director of a 'competing bank' and I have been informed that FNB is liable in fixing the problem at hand. I decided to be fair and phone FNB yet again to inform them that they are liable and they still refuse to take responsibility. I am disgusted at the their customer service.
They currently advertise how good their customer service is and how "fast" they are, compared to other banks, yet cannot assist with simple debit orders.
They have recently also started to take weeks for a simple debit order to appear on my online banking, this is getting ridiculous and if this problem is not sorted by the end of this week, I am changing my bank.
