Last month I applied for a credit card at the Standard Bank in Protea glen mall. To start off with. I sat the for 45min before I was assisted as only one person was serving clients with applications and opening of accounts. I had to have my proof of address scanned as they could not accept my bnk statement as proof of address @ the branch in Kempton Park as it is closer to me, which is de branch I had asked to collect my card from. I had to call Standard bank client care twice in two weeks to find out how my appliction was, and only received feedback last Week Thursday, as they said the was a delay. Today I get an sms saying I must collect the Card in Protea Glen, whereas I had asked for it to be sent in Kempton Park. I dont appreciate the run around and lack of efficiency that I have been given. Now where will I find time to go there and it will take another seven days for them to send it to send it to the correct branch, its really an inconvinience. Really not impressed.
