Standard bank had promised me a gold card since November last year, it is May and I still haven't received it. I went into the bank to apply for the card and they called me to tell me my card was ready for collection. When I got to the bank inside menlyn mall they told me they don't have my card and I must go collect it at standard bank in retail park. Got to retail park and they told me they don't have it it's at the mall. Then one smart person called the branch in the mall and my card miraculously appeared at the branch in the mall. I have been banking with standard bank since I was 14 years old and I'm actually disappointed and want to move to another bank. Standard bank treats me like they are doing me a favour by keeping my money. It's unbelievable to see that's the staff at standard bank have no idea how to treat customers. I'm behind on my Acc payments because of this.
