2013 i rec a call from Ibuso Insurance Solutions (underwritten by Old Mutual) to move my car and household contents insurance to them at a price of R779, i read the schedule and because it was cheaper and because the excess amounts was lower, i cancelled my insurance with first 4 women and miway. I recently experienced a incident at my place of which it was reported to the police. I submitted a claim to my insurance broker who quickly asked me to complete the app form and list missing items. All of a sudden i need to submit proof of items that is not even seen as risk items. I do not proof of slips as i buy my items cash, however i provide pictures of the items when it was in use at my home. No feedback is received after "proof" has now been provided and i queried by you looking for proof of non risk items. Eventually i call Elize who says she has not received feedback from Old Mutual. I give her chance the whole day to respond, nothing i call Ricardo who signed me up, he follows up with her. She immediately responds saying that my case is not covered under the policy wording, no where on my policy does it state what she is referring to.
