I have been waiting for a payout since my accident in december in wich i was unable to work after cracking an elbow, covered by my work disability policy with liberty.
After submitting the necessary documents in january, i waited and assumed all was good. After six months i am still waiting.
Three weeks ago, i called to find out the delay and was informed that they could not get hold of my Gp, hence the delay. Had i not told them they had the details of a doctor i had never heard of, they would have happily done nothing. After correcting them my real Gp was going to be contacted by liberty straight away so he could send my PMA form and all would be finalised.
On the 4th june i called again and liberty had still not requested any information from my doctor, hence delaying my claim again...
Nothing happens unless we as customers follow up on what we have pay for on a monthly basis..
Where would my claim be had i not followed up?
Where is it now?
Liberty need to read their code of conduct.
I shudder to think what the poor beneficary of my life policy will have to go through forbid something happens to me.
