I applied for a loan against our existing home loan. Upon the first application it was approved in principal, the next info it was declined due to the desktop valuation done. I was requested to obtain 3 external valuations in order to have this reviewed, this I only found out when phoning and querying why I am not receiving any further info. At no stage was I informed there is a timeline in which these valuations should have been obtained. Being Dec I obtained these in Dec and Jan and submitted immediately thereafter. I received a mail informing me they need to verify me before continuing with the application. Today I called to be informed nothing was done since Nov 2012 and the application had to be redone as the new valuations had to be submitted within 2 days.. I was never informed of this. I was told a consultant (the same one who did the original application) would phone me again to redo the app... NO CONTACT. Needless to say this was the same with the original application as I had to phone 2 weeks before I was assisted to apply.
