I processed a further advance application on my home loan on 2013/01/09. I had to make numerous phone calls to Absa to track the status as I did not receive one phonecall. I was requested to submit supporting documents which I did, only to be told that they linked my documents to the incorrect application. When you do an online application, you dont get to know who the person handling your application is. You receive no communication unless you call. Now after 13 days, I receive an email to say the application has been declined due to cash flow yet my application shows sufficient cash flow. They told me on 2013/01/21 (only when I called) that the application has been submitted to the deal facilitator for motivation. There was no need for this based on my application. I request to see a breakdown of how my income and expenses was captured as when I did my initial application this was done incorrectly.
