I reported an accident on the 27th of November and my claim was accepted on the 4th of December. I was promised that an effort will be done to take my car to a panel beater which can possibly do the work before businesses closes. Undertandably, the panel beater closed on the 14th of December.
I was informed that the parts had been ordered.
I took a 30 day car hire option when I joined because I never had an accident in the past 7 years. The car expired on the 7th (after a 10 day extention) and I rertuned it.
I called the panel beater on the 7th and they told me they are awaiting parts and my car will be done in about 10 days.
I still do not have my car back, I get told many stories by the panerl beater and NKululeko does very little job of updating about the status of my car. I was shocked when I called the panel beater on the 25th of Jan to be told that parts were only ordered on the 9th of Jan.
I am soo inconvinienced, the insurer chose that panel beater and they seem not to care how long they take. I do not think they even checked how many cars they had before leaving my car there. They are not affected and do not care that i don't have transport. What is a point of insurance??
