I received my Cheque card a few minutes ago. Thus I follow the indications to get my card verified. But even if you are registered for online banking for another account you still need to phone them to get this card verified. Easy, so I thought. NOT at all. The call centre do a check on you - which is fare. But then then come to a question - how long have you had the credit card from another bank - here you have to give the exact years otherwise they cannot assist you - NOW REALLY TELL ME - How many people know the date and year when they received their credit cards? Why then if they want this don't they rather refuse to give you a cheque account?
So, now it means I can only go to the bank on Saturday which means I miss the chance to get my salary paid into my account - because how can you do business if you cannot access your card!!!
So, FNB you are just as all the other banks - NOT a pleasure at all and TOTALLY not helpful.
