The African Bank branch in Fordsburg rocks! Generally I personally don't like African Bank, they have to many kinks to sort out and their interest and form of paying back is too much. But as far as service goes all the staff especially their team leader should be rewarded. They helped us out about 2years ago and I promised to tell their manager, but never got so far. And now I discovered Hello Peter! Just because they gave me excellent service 2years ago doesn't mean they still aren't providing that now to customers. They welcome you warmly (not just with us) but from what I have seen with others. We had a problem with our credit card and they ALL stayed with us until after closing time for 3 hours to help us sort it out! They deserve a medal! I'm sorry I cant remember their names, and I don't like African Bank as a go-to place but if anyone out there wants to use African Bank go to the Branch in Fordsburg! Even if it means going further from the nearest branch, trust me - it's worth it!
