Payment delay

My mom passed away and her funeral policy did a payout, and when we enquired about the Life Cover we are getting no answers we are told it is still pending, One call center agent told me we still need to submit the death certificate how can Old Mutual do a pay out for a Funeral Cover and request the death certificate to be submitted again. My family has been given the run around. Is there anybody who will be able to tell us when will the Life Cover be paid out. It is putting strain on the family unhappy customer Siyabonga Tinizo
