I am a long time customer off FNB, and I was really happy with their service and really thought it was a bank that looked after their customers! I WAS WRONG!!! I applied for a person loan, to start my own company, well they could not give the loan fast enough and made promises, and one of the terms & conditions was, should you get retrench from your company, they would stop your payment for 6 months to get a new job and pay them back (it was not really my case, but it is similar) in September our house burned down, and I worked from home, so with the loss of our home, and everything that was burned down, one should expect you can't really carry on with your business if everything was turned into ashes. So I went to FNB and asked if I could make an arrangement to just get everything sorted out and getting a roof over our heads, and start to pay the loan back in end of Feb 2014... Well the bank that gives false advertising to always help their customers, said no you still have to pay!!! Well I did not know that if my loan of R2650.00 will make them bankrupt if they did not get the payment every month for just 5 months. It is really pathetic off a leading bank!! So disappointed
