So I saw a smart device deal that I would like to get. So tried to follow the normal online procedure to no avail as the promotion is not available in the selection menu when following the instructions. I then tried contacting the call centre from 8am and it is now 11:47 and still nobody can assist me in getting me the promotion I want or even telling me why I cannot get it. I have just been transferred from call centre dept to call centre dept with no actual assistance.
Called a local branch and the electronics division of FNB and they advised that I can only go through the call centre.

I built up the nerve and tried one more time to my disgust was still not given any answers or assistance. I eventually changed my mind and told the agent not to worry as I dont think I want the promotion anymore.

My suggestion is dont even bother if it is going to be this hard getting a smart device. The headache alone is enough to put you off. FNB's advertising is great and money well spent but spend more money training your staff.
