Correct processes not followed

On 24/12/2013 over R1000 was withdrawn from my a/c from someone overseas - my card was cloned and I was robbed. I immediately went into the bank at Kabega branch to I had to speak to consultant and was advised that it will have to be investigated and will be refunded after investigation. A new card was made and had to collect it a week later. I collected card 2/01/14 at Greenacres branch and enquired bout refund, only to discover that I had to fill in affidavit and then send it to dept. Asked how long will refund take, they don't know cos no-one lets them know when they get their money back. How unproffessional of staff at both branches. Kabega for not following procedure correctly and Greenacres for not make an effort to find out how long it takes for refund. Surely an sms of process can be sent to me, saying investigation started, refund in process, pmt date of refund etc. Its not like I can afford to wait months for my money back, I have children to support who are going back to school in next 2 weeks. Their clothing/stationery money was from me while entrusting my money to the bank.
