Incorrect Settlement amounts

Contacted Call Centre for settlement. Agent advises that a debit order is still hanging and it MIGHT return and I will be liable. I inform the agent that I am confident that the debit order will be successful as per every other yr before then. Due to the large sett amt. I called to confirm if payment was received. To my suprise i now still have a balance over R400? The agent assistn cud nt answer me! she advised that escalation process is 48hr. OKAY... where is my call? I am still waiting! and the second agent i dealt with had the audacity to sigh on the phone at me.. why? because she was incompetent and couldnt answer my simple questions? Rather she tells me they not allowed to give me a settlement if a debit order has not been deducted successfully... so where and how did this R400.00 appear on my credit card after i settled and the debit order was successful. I want to be called back today. Please listen to the calls- if you have problems getting them, i am happy to send them to you as my line is recorded as well.
