Idirect call centre has bad attitude

I have heard numerous complaints from friends and family regarding ABSA Idirect call centre but was not truly convinced in this regard until today. I have an electrical issue which has tripped my earth leakage downstairs and the freezer has also defrosted completely. I called the call centre at 11h35 and got the most rude unhelpful agent you could ever imagine - I needed help in two areas; the home assist to check the electrical fault and claims to register my claim. After a back and forth and before registering my claim she transferred me to the emergency line where I was assisted by Sonnyboy. Afterwards I explained that a claim had not been registered yet and he said I should hang up and call claims again - I explained that I was at claims but got no assistance from the rude agent, all of a sudden she is on the line (conferenced) with us shouting at me - I ask for her details to take the issue further and she hangs up. Sonnyboy is now shocked (as am I) and unsure what to do - I tell him I will hang up and call back. I call back and ask for a call centre manager or supervisor but they are busy so I leave a message. I WISH TO ESCALATE THIS MATTER SO DISCIPLINARY ACTION CAN BE TAKEN
