FNB running a with the IPAD, Iphone deals

I recently switched to FNB and they are not leaving up to expectation, I applied for an IPAD some 3 or 4 months ago which was approved but I was told they are currently out of stock... it is 4 months later I have not heard from FNB regarding this..I am starting to wonder if this was just a to lure new customers to FNB??
