I don't agree with the approved amount

I bought a cellphone for R1200 & took an insurance on it I was paying R40 for the insurance now my phone is lost & they are giving me a credit of R999 really don't understand why the approve with such a low amount. & the story that they approve it with the current market value is pissinge off cuase that phone is discontinued is nolonger available on the Market where do they expect me to find it. &; I've been paying this insurance for the past 3 years
