MTN Insurance not paying for the sum insured

MTN has process and approved my claim, for my Samsung Note 2 which was lost... tell me about life without a phone... its bad.

im covered for R7500, thats the amount on my statement, now they only giving me R 6900.00 where is the logic in that, i sent emails to the guys that sent me the approval with no response.

we all pay insurance so we not in a worst of position, now i have to rake up about R 1300 for a later model phone because the note 2 is discontinued, i should of just went to outsurance or any service provider.

if the pay in amount is alot less on the newer phone i am fine with that, but do not rip people off and say its the insurance bracket that i in...

my statement shows insurance R7500 so i expect R7500..

my phone is on day and night so nobody must say they cannot get hold of me.

this is really frustrating.
