Last week Saturday 14th, I went in branch and reported that my Personal Loan had been double debited for my December payment, I was put on line with the collections department to have the account reversed. Being a NedBank Account Holder I was informed that the amount will be reversed within 24hrs and most likely reflect later that day.
This did not happen.
I went back this past Saturday 21st, to enquire why it was not reversed yet, I was told the same thing and that it would reflect within 24hrs.
This did not happen again.
I went back yesterday morning Monday 23rd, to find out why it still has not been reversed.
I was told it has been escalated with the Admin Department and was given the ref:9331861.
I checked again today more than 24hrs later, and the amount has still not been reversed.
I phoned back today Tuesday 24th at 11:23am.
I enquired why the amount had not been reversed yet, and I was told that the issue had not been escalated yesterday. I was given a new ref:9328272.
This is unacceptable.
I had to deal with this same issue last month with my November payment.
As a NedBank client, these reversals should happen with 24hrs.
