Funds went out of my account that was not supposed to go out of my account. I contacted Capitec, and they transferred the one amount back into my account, but I had to go to the Claremont branch where they assisted me to the R230 back that as not supposed to be deducted. The point is, they told me they assumed that I was getting paid on that date and then proceeded to deduct monies which they acknowledged they should not have taken they money. I then left the complaint with the Claremont branch manager who PROMISED high and low that he would get back, but never did. I had to sacrifice two lunch hours, walk 5 blocks, made hundreds of rands worth of calls, and all everyone can tell my is sorry!! You inconvenience my life because of your mistakes, you cost me money, and all you can say I sorry! Then funds were supposed to be transferred into my account from abroad. I unfortunately missed the call, but then I called back. I was left on hold for more than 1 hour waiting to speak to someone! When I called the number given 0218094030, I was left hanging for more than 30 mins again. All that Micheal Lockyer could tell me was sorry!! I am closing my account with Capitec, going back to FNB.
