Non Existent Customer Service

I would like to warn the public out there not to ever apply for a Home Loan with Standard Bank as their service is beyond pathetic.

We applied for a Home Loan on 20 NOVEMBER 2013, and still have not had the courtesy of a reply. Today is the 23rd of December and they keep passing you from pillar to post.

My what has the world come to if you cannot approve an application in 24 hours? Perhaps the staff who are employed there do not know their from their elbows as you do not need to be a rocket scientist to approve or decline a loan.

To date they still continue asking for more documentation as they CANNOT work from a simple checklist to conduct a survey and see if they have all the required info.
