Home Loan Pledge Application

My mother applied for a Pledge on a home loan for a mere amount of R400k three (3) weeks ago and still has not received an answer from Home Loans re the approval of the pledge not the actual Home Loan. This is pathetic to say the least as he has been passed from pillar to post and they keep asking for more and more info. WHY in today's day and age don't you have a checklist in front of you to verify that you ask the Presitge Client for all the info at once? You would have thought that this would be standard procedure. We complained about this earlier and then she received a call today saying that its her fault as she caused the delay? Is this how you treat customers and what kind of impression do you leave on a new client like this. I convinced her to switch from Nedbank Meyersdal as the service level there is non existent and now SBSA gives her the same attitude. If you are certified as a Presitge Client, surely you should receive some benefits? Why else are you paying for the fees and do you have a private banker (who has assisted her as far as she could). This is appalling to say the least as i used to work for Home loans before. Shows you service is not what it used to be.
