Nedbank delays paying approved insurance claim

In September 2013 our glass shower door fell out and was smashed. Claim was logged and approved by Nedbank. Submitted claim documents. They told us that in Kuils River, they did not have an approved contractor on their books. They asked us to source a contractor and submit a quote for this replacement and their approval. We did so, submitted the quote and the contactor and quote was approved in writing by Nedbank. They requested that we pay the contactor upfront and that they would then reimburse us for the amount quoted. We explained that we did not have sufficient funds on hand to do this, so they agreed to pay the amount over into our account so we could go ahead with the repairs. This was in October 2013.This payment to date, 21 December more than two months later has still not been done and we are sitting with a shower we cannot use. We have emailed the contact person at Nedbank dealing with our claim, Mr Moses Tshidiso on numerous occasions with no response at all to any of our communication. We have tried getting hold of him using the call centre helpline only to be put on hold for 20 minutes with no answer.
