I am really frustrated with the poor communication/ message conveyed. My bond was registered on 18/12/2012 and I was advised by the consultant (prior to bond registration) that as soon as the bond is registered, I could apply for a further advance of the full difference between the initial bond and property valuation. The consultant registered a higher amount based on valuation of property. Now when I did the further advance, my application was declined based on made up reasons. I was going back & forth with Geraldine who even further escalated it to her manager who spoke even further nonsense. Firstly, I was told the only reason it was declined was due to cash flow. When that issue was resolved (due to incorrect ITC report), then another reason was given of 85% lending criteria. I was never told this before by the consultant or at the first decline. Then when I speak to the manager, she comes up with another reason stating that the valaution of the property is not what was registered. It seems that each time there was just another made up so that they dont take the fall for wrong message. Surely there was a valuation report initially done when the bond was approved! Escalate!!
