Someone must do something about these insurers... they so quick to accept business from clients and make a million promises they can not keep with their dishonesty, I took up cover with discovery insure - household contents, and that i have a claim they finding all sorts of reasons NOT to pay my claim, asking for things they never said i needed to have come claim stage, like receipts of all the insured items, really? why they did not tell me this at first so that i can decide whether to stay with them or go else with this nonsense, they can gladly take money from you. I hope the government really clamps down on them next year with the new laws on treating their customers/clients fairly. Otherwise as is, this is, and just know they wont pay claims.
