I sent an email (disappointed) email stating:
The Mellerware 1.8L Modena 3 in 1 Coffee Maker costs R599 at Makro, however standard bank ucount offers it for R771. Exactly R102 more. This is a joke as other products are market related.
I received the following mail back:
I understand that prices differ wherever you go. You can however purchase the item at Makro & earn UCount Rewards points. You would receive .5% for your card swipe & additional .75% for purchasing at Makro
Upon which I responded:
I think you missing the point.
Never mind I do not think standard bank will understand customer's expectations.
Suggest sb removes the "disappoint" icon, as it does not work.

I still think this is a ridiculous response and should give SB Ucount a red face in terms of what they are advertising
