Firstly I'd like to state I'm not innocent in all this, it was irresponsible of me to get a R40000 Credit Card, R28000 (paid down to 15000) personal loan and R4000 over draft while earning R8000 a month. This was around 2007-2008, so after I lost my job and was unemployed for 2 years I communicated with FNB and strangely I was left alone. DATE: 2010-04-29, REMARKS: Settled In Full Subsequent To Write Off, that appeared on my credit record when I was finished with my studies looking for my first real job. 2013 January-February went and re-applied for my cheque account, was told to pay R11000 to get it in working order which I did, first day when I signed into internet banking I find a balance of R83000 on the credit card that I have not seen for 6 years, all transactions for the last 3-4 years were interest. 2 Months ago FNB personal loans debits R10000 out of my account, just to find I still owe 10000 more. 9 months active no notice nothing.
