I've been under debt counselling for 4 years. Due to this I've destroyed my credit card. My Standard bank credit card was the last account which still had to be paid. I have opt to cancel my debit order with Consumer Assist and pay my credit card directly.
Again because of the fact that I have destroyed my card and don't have any account details I went to Standard bank Pretoria North to get my account number and the settlement amount. Because it is/was under debt counselling they have phoned inside the branch a number so that I can request the information.
The person on the other side of the line informed me that I must sent an e-mail to the following address; [Email Removed] with my ID number in the subject line.
I have done that on Monday 2013-05-20 at about 07:57. I haven't got any response yet. It is very poor service delivery.
I'm expecting to have everything by tomorrow, 24-05-2013 so that I can make the final payment and get my credit score be lifted so that I can buy my own transport and to avoid getting more interest added to the outstanding balance.
This type of service is not "moving forward" but rather moving backwards.
