STAY AWAY FROM AON / SANTAM INSURANCE

I joined AON 2 years ago as part of a package through my Employer. I covered a S4 I Phone for 12 000-00. I had a claim and was refunded only ZAR 9000-00 even though the replacement phone cost me ZAR 10 500-00.

Secondly, they cannot manage to sort out my policy wrt values, debits and even got the risk address wrong despite many written emails.

It's been 8 months and still they are not able to explain to me how they get to my premium and what is actually covered and what not. Every month a different premium is charged and AON do not even bother to send a proper response.

They are, you get charged the highest premium so as to be rather "over insured" than under insured but when it comes to administrating the policy and paying out claims, they display nothing but incompetence and utter unethical behaviour.

Be warned people, Santam claiming that their company is the way to go - is all.
