Nedbank sent me a sms last month saying because my normal home loan debit order date is the 25th of December my debit order will take place on the 13th of December. I phoned them immediately and told them they cannot do that because I only get paid on the 25th and I cannot afford having 2 home loan payment made during one month. The person I talked to said he maid a note that my debit order must not be done on the 13th.
However today, 13 December 2013, I received a sms fro my bank saying Nedbank have tried to make a debit order for my home loan. The payment did not go through because like I told them there will not be enough funds. But now on my credit record it will show that I could not make a payment.
I find this inexcusable.
