Standard Bank is the worst bank you could ever bank with!!! I applied for a loan for my wife on her name and it has taken over 5 weeks to get an answer, and guess what? I'm still waiting after numerous e-mails to them. we have also been waiting for a cheque card for my wife for over a year now. i have requested the bank to trace the card and i am still waiting.
I have been banking with Standard Bank for over 25 years now and am sorry i have stayed with them so long, you would think that after being with a bank for this amount of time that even through hard ships in our industry they would stand by you, but clearly this is not the case with them. I will be switching to F.N.B. people who care and don't treat you as a number and don't charge you a fortune for pieces of paper.
