FICA - NEVER UPDATED ON SYSTEM

About a year ago, I took my ID, Proof of address etc to ABSA Westonaria, for the FICA process. this year I got a new card, and everytime i want to use it for a transaction, it gets declined. I have been to Fochville branch 3 times because of this. Everytime they activated the chip again.. working fine for the first swipe, after that, fails... Today I went to Fochville again to get a statement and for the FOURTH time fix my card... GUESS WHAT!!!???!!! my address of 7 years ago still reflects on the system. it shows that i have updated it last in 2006.

I struggled to get a letter from housing department (as we stay in a mine house) for weeks... JUST to do the FICA at the bank... NOW WHAT??? i guess now I have to go through all that SCHLEP again to get a letter for proof of address, as i do not have any accounts that get delivered to my house. And i had to stand with a red face in a store MANY times, as this is apparently why my chip keeps deactivating...

This is totally unacceptable!!!
