So I'm sitting down having my first cold beer, celebrating the beginning of my annual leave, when I get no less than 15, yes that's right 15 sms's informing me that my daily limits has been cancelled and my account closed. Phone the number on the sms to find out what is going on, only to get informed that my savings account has been closed down, because there was no movement in three months time. No previous sms or notification to say: Listen here, put some money into the account or we will close it. Nada, Nothing!! Now: I'm a Gold Card cheque account holder at FNB, and I get HARASSED basically everyday from somebody that wants to sell something like life cover or this or that. But nobody can pick up a phone to call me about this. PATHETIC!!! I still need that account. And while we are on this topic: Stop trying to sell me all kinds of nonsense that I don't want! I have been a loyal customer for the past 15 years plus, but to this day nobody from my bank has called me to ask: Sir, what do you need? We see on your profile that you are a rep. Can't we perhaps offer you a garage card linked to your cheque account to make life easier for you as our client? FNB you are pathetic!!!
