Linked a cancelled card to my account

I transferred money from my cheque account to my savings account and then tried to pay my bills when I discovered that I had no money.

I eventually phoned my bank to ask them where the did my money go when I was told oh it went into my Discovery Credit Card.
And I was shocked because I had closed this credit card in 2008. And now its linked to my bank account... How the heck can you do that?? Who gave the permission to link this card??? This is truly disturbing that something like this could happen with out my permission.

Also I would like to know now who will be paying for my debit orders that are going to bounce? And is FNB going to make sure that this doesn't reflect on the credit report? Because if your staff didn't link this account, I would not be in this situation.

Apparently this is being investigated by the card division, but I have had no feed back.

I am truly annoyed at this type of service by a bank that keeps asking "How can we help? "
