Closed my account without informing me

I am expecting a refund from SARS this year. Only to find out that SARS made the refund on the 25th November but it bounced back because ABSA CLOSED MY ACCOUNT in October - without so much as a sms or phone call to tell me you were doing this!!!

Ive been a customer for years - the last 15 years at least - so the least you could do was inform me before you close my account!!!

Customer service??? I don't think so...
