Non due diligence (Paying money wrong person)

I got refund from SARS of R 7 124.23 dated 22/12/2010 according to SARS correspondence which such refund did not reach my account instead it was paidto the wrong account. When i made an investgation i discovered that account submitted is 9219170970 and the account paid to 9219170920 (wrong digit). I have been sent from pillar to post between ABSA and SARS without any resolution thereof. I want to know how my refund was paid to an account which doesnt correspond with the name, address and ID no of account holder while the ABSA has a profile of its clients. This is the second time whereby my money was paid to the wrong account without any verification betwen 2009/2010 i had to call the Vereeniging branch for the reversal of a deposit to my account. this makes me to conclude that ABSA is failing to conduct due diligence before processing the money while having all the details of the clients. All i need is my money which is due to me and this matter has not prescribed in terms if law. Adv Thimane AG
