I have 2 claims with Absa Insurance. It took me 1, 5 days to eventually reach the call centre on 3 Dec 2013. I have 2 claim numbers. It relates to damages to my property from the storms we experienced in that time. Amongst other I have a fallen boundary wall and lightning conductor pole which now doesn't provide protection for my thatch roof (also damaged). Been trying to get hold of the call centre again to follow up and have now given up after another 67minutes of waiting. If only I had at least an understanding of their process... if one exists. Its even worse feeling like nothing is happening and knowing that builders a closing for Christmas! After this experience I'm definitely considering moving my 'Private Banking' business elsewhere.
