I called Absa Vehicle and Asset finance a week ago to get the settlement value for my vehicle. I asked the consultant to email me the settlement value and the EFT banking details. I received none of this. I emailed Absa customer service to request these details and was told to call the call centre and request this again. I emailed back to say that I'm not prepared to keep wasting my time and money calling Absa and that I expect this to be resolved via email. I have since been ignored. I have, however, in the interim received a sales phone call from Absa asking if I'll be financing my new vehicle through them. Unsurprisingly, my answer is a resounding no!
